About the Network

The Housing Associations Directors' Network is a resource for sector directors to share information, exchange ideas and to facilitate peer support.  The network now has over 70 members from the boards of 35 housing associations.

How to Join

If you would like to join the Housing Associations Directors' Network, Please download the Registration Form, and return to NSW Federation of Housing Associations.

Background

The Directors' Network was established following the Community Housing Conference in May 2004 to resource sector board members.

Network steering committee

A steering committee of network members guides the development of the network particularly the ways in which information is shared.  The purpose statement outlines the Network's aims.

Purpose Statement

The NSW Federation of Housing Associations has established a network of sector directors.

The purpose of the Housing Associations Directors' Network is to enable sector directors to work together to share information, provide peer support and to develop a range of resources to meet their needs.

It is anticipated that this will break down isolation of sector directors from their peers and the sector as a whole, ensure peer information is available to directors, facilitate the spread of expertise based boards and, identify the further governance training and support needs of directors.
