ACHIA NSW-  Aboriginal Housing Provider Advocacy Model Project Officer – identified position
Location: Sydney
Description of role: The Aboriginal Housing Provider Advocacy Model Project Officer will work with Aboriginal Community Housing Providers (ACHPs), Aboriginal Community Housing Industry Association (ACHIA) the Aboriginal Housing Office and other key stakeholders to develop a new model to ensure ACHPs have an engagement mechanism to provide input on initiatives across the NSW Aboriginal Housing Sector.  The model will be developed in line with the principles of the Aboriginal Cultural Co-Design Model of AHO.

CHIA NSW- Aboriginal Partnerships Specialist – identified position
Location: Sydney
Description of role: The Aboriginal Partnerships Specialist will focus on building on Community Housing Providers’ commitment to Aboriginal cultural competency and safety in their workplaces and service delivery.  You will help to build genuine partnerships between the Community Housing and Aboriginal Community Housing sectors to support improved outcomes for Aboriginal tenants living in community housing.
You will have excellent facilitation and advocacy skills and a demonstrated ability to run Aboriginal cultural competency and cultural safety events as well as demonstrated experience in engaging Aboriginal and mainstream organisations.
