DESCRIPTION:Confront the Crisis in the Illawarra summit\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for the Confront the Crisis in the Illawarra summit\, so together we can find practical solutions to the growing housing crisis in our region. \n\n\n\n23\,000 households are living in housing stress in the Illawarra\, and there’s a vacancy rate of 0 in our region. There’s no question we are in the midst of a housing crisis – and it’s having major social and economic impacts. \n\n\n\nThe summit\, facilitated by ABC Journalist Melinda James will bring together land owners\, the business community\, state and local government representatives and the community sector. We will discuss real solutions and latest research to CONFRONT THE CRISIS. \n\n\n\nHousing Trust and the Confront the Crisis campaign are inviting you to be part of the Confront the Crisis in the Illawarra summit. \n\n\n\nWe’ll talk about the effects of the housing emergency\, but also discuss practical\, workable solutions to bring our community out of the housing crisis.
