CHIA NSW, under the Industry Development Strategy, together with Community Development Australia and the UK’s HQN Network, have conducted research and developed case studies to assist community housing providers with improving their services, tenant engagement and satisfaction.

This project was made possible by funds provided by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) under the NSW Community Housing Industry Development Strategy (IDS). The NSW Community Housing IDS is a partnership between CHIA NSW and DCJ.
This research project identifies households in rental stress or facing homelessness in Australia. It then unpacks the costs of delivering the housing needed in these markets.
