CHIA NSW through the Centre for Training in Social Housing is offering an online NCAT training package that is supported through video conferencing sessions and online modules. Limit of 15 participants per class. Delivery style is online workshops (2 non-accredited and 4 accredited) via the platform Zoom.

Program for the management of the Social Housing sector, including community housing aims to provide secure, appropriate housing opportunities and assistance to those with housing needs. The Housing PAthway Framework provides coordinated information and advice using a single application and standard assessment process across all social housing organisations. It provides a common eligibility, prioritisation guidelines and allocation process and single waiting list.

This course is targeted to new frontline workers

Trauma Informed Practice

Delivery style is online workshops via the platform Zoom
All participants will be provided with an infographic for their workplace
There are two sessions of three hours each. They are held consecutively.

This session gives you the opportunity to understand trauma and complexities, examine what impact trauma has on your work and offers you some tools and strategies to improve and validate your current practice.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Safety

Delivery style is online workshops via the platform Zoom
All participants will be provided with a Resource List and access to the PowerPoints
One day session 9.30am – 3.30pm
Cost is $200 per participant (GST inclusive)
