Across five focused sessions, participants will build the skills, strategies, and confidence to manage people effectively, strengthen team performance, and create a positive, resilient workplace culture.

5. Building Your Team’s Culture
Psychological safety, guided reflection, and peer learning are embedded throughout the program.
- Practical tools, templates, frameworks and action plans you can apply in the workplace.
- Greater confidence in managing people, setting expectations and navigating workplace challenges.
- Strategies for emotional intelligence, delegation, feedback, performance and team culture
- Practice in approaching challenging conversations with clarity and confidence.
- A 1:1 coaching session to support your individual management and leadership development plan.
- New and emerging managers working in NSW Community Housing Providers, particularly people who are within their first six months in a management or team leadership role, including those moving from team member to manager.
This is not just theory. The program uses practical workshops, peer learning, guided reflection and workplace-focused activities to help participants transfer their learning directly into their role. Pre- and post-program assessments will also help participants recognise growth in confidence, skills and management readiness.
